middle name for Alice

DP and I both really like Alice for our little one, due 16/05, but neither of us can think of a middle name to go with it that we really like. So far, we're thought about Alice Imogen, Alice Rebecca, or Alice Evelyn, but none of them really feels right. I'd like a quite 'girly' name, preferably not in the top 100, and DP really prefers very common, meet-em-in-every-primary-school-in-the-country type names (although still girly).
Our other possible first names are Annabelle, Imogen, Orla, and Lila, to give you an idea about what we can agree on!

My sister is Alice Jessica which I think goes really well. Another friend called Alice is Alice Eliza.

We have an Imogen Alice but our friends have Alice Connie which is quite cute. What about Alice eve?

horrorcomic · 29/03/2011 20:16

If our DS had been a girl he would have been Alice Amy.

pinkgirlythoughts · 29/03/2011 20:07

Bike, I have two sisters, so the other one would probably be mightily offended! Plus, Faye is a stroppy 17-year-old, and pretty much refuses to acknowledge the fact that I'm pregnant at all, never mind have anything to do with its imminent arrival. She'd probably see it as a huge insult if I were to give the baby her name as a mn!

Alice Marianne

Why not name your daughter after your sister? My niece's middle name is my first name (also happens to be Alice). I was very flattered.

pinkgirlythoughts · 29/03/2011 17:34

Unusual, definitely, but my sister is Faye, so that's off limits!

I know an Alice Georgina.

Oh I like Alice Olivia...lovely

lilibet · 28/03/2011 16:33

Alice Constance
Alice Gabrielle
Alice Katherine

I think Alice is a beautiful name and I think as it's very 'soft' sounding a hard constanant works well at the start of the second name IYSWIM.

longislandicetea · 28/03/2011 16:29

Thank god you all like Alice Elizabeth...I am one!

purepurple · 28/03/2011 16:28

DD is just Alice, no middle name.
