Hello, were expecting a baby girl in June but cant decide which name to go for. She will be very close in age to my 2 youngest daughters who are isobel and daisy so il probably be saying all their names together (my older children are amber, morgan and finlay). The names we like are,
Florence
Scarlett
Freya
Matilda or Tilly

Middle name will probably be rose.
Many thanks!!!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

How old are all your children Yummy?

I was saying all their names aloud, as if you where to say them to aloud to a friend or say your neighbour in the hospital ward afte having baby number 6!

Amber, Morgan, Finlay, Isobel, Daisy and Fraya?!

Amber, Morgan, Finlay, Isobel, Daisy and Florance?!

These two are good because of the Finlay as the third name, and the F again as the first letter of the 6th name.

Amber, Morgan, Finlay, Isobel, Daisy and Scarlett

Also good because their is two colours at either end!

Amber, Morgan, Finlay, Isobel, Daisy and Matilda?!

Not as good because their is too many desabells within Isobel and Matilda so the last three names would be a mouthful if saying all six at once.

Amber, Morgan, Finlay, Isobel, Daisy and Tilly

Dont like Tilly with the other names

My suggestion for a nice name is...

Amber, Morgan, Finlay, Isobel, Daisy and Yasmin. or Jasmin

SoozleQ · 25/03/2011 00:39

What about Eloise? I only suggest this as my DD is Eloise Rose Grin

Tortoiseonthehalfshell · 25/03/2011 00:54

Oh please not Rose as a middle name. Every single girl that has been born in the past three years has Rose as a middle name. Well, except the ones who have Grace.

Tortoiseonthehalfshell · 25/03/2011 00:55

TreacleChops, by 'desabells' I think you mean syllables.

(Sorry, Soozle, didn't see your post when I posted my last, wasn't a dig)

yummymummyto6 · 25/03/2011 08:04

I know what u mean about rose, tiger. All my children have a one syllable mn n I know its silly n completely obsessive lol but it means I want t stick t same with this one if I can. I love pearl as a mn esp if she arrives in June seeing as its the birth stone for that month but it doesnt seem t go with the names I like! No I wouldnt weimy n thanks jemma, I really like mia n hadnt thought of that. I like eva too but my husband doesnt. Thanks ninky, I prefer rosie but wasnt sure if it was too much after daisy? And thank you clear and hula!

Thanks hula, I like florrie rather than flo. Treacle, amber is 14 next month, morgan, he is 11, finlay nearly 4. Isobel will be 2 in may n daisy 1 in may. I can see what u mean when u say all the names together n maybe matilda doesnt sound as good as some of the others, its definitely given me something to think about!

yummymummyto6 · 25/03/2011 08:37

baskingseals · 25/03/2011 12:25

also thought of Fleur as a middle name.
lovely meaning and is one syllable

Hedwig3 · 25/03/2011 12:43

Miranda?

MattysMumNBump · 25/03/2011 12:50

How about Bethany rose?

yummymummyto6 · 26/03/2011 14:06

Hiya basking, not sure about genevive but I love fleur as a middle name so thank you!! Not keen on miranda, sorry but thanks anyway n I had bethany on my list when I had my first daughter 14 years ago so altho its a lovely name just seems a bit dated now t me :)

baskingseals · 26/03/2011 15:42

oh good Grin

have you had any more thought on the first name?

KaceyMaybe · 26/03/2011 21:14

I love Scarlett, but Scarlett Rose is a bit like a description? (Red Rose)
Freya is nice too.
What about Francesca Rose?

yummymummyto6 · 27/03/2011 09:37

Not really basking, got a few more weeks left anyway. I like freya, florence n matilda best I think but not sure if the last 2 go with rest of names. I know what u mean about scarlett rose, kacey. Its quite nice but not keen on the nn fran :)
