Eliza - are there quite a few around?

I really like this name, it's growing on me daily but now I wonder if there are loads? Haven't actually met any but I'm thinking it's suddenly becoming popular, am I right?

Oh thank you, nothing wrong with popular but don't want 3 in her class and 'classic' names just aren't for me and won't go with our other 3 girls. Course it could be a boy!!
Am 36 weeks and can't believe how long it's taking to choose this time (but had serious twinges last night so need to get choosing soon!).

I have one Smile, have yet to meet another. It's way outsude the top 100 (approx 140) and has been pretty static over the last few years. It seems to be a m'net fave, which may give you the impression it's more popular than it really is.

DD1 is an Eliza nn for Elizabeth shes 11. Have only ever met one other last year and she was 8.

Natalie Cassidy, Sonia from Eastenders named her baby Eliza last year.

Never met one under 40. I think it could become popular in the next few years, but I would be surprised if it was in the current top 50.

I have one who is 3 - it's a lovely name and people always comment. I know of a couple of new babies named Eliza so perhaps it is getting more popular but certainly not to the extent that there will be 3 or 4 in her class.
