Name my campervan

I'll probably jinx it, but we are hopefully buying a traditional vw campervan this afternoon. I feel it's a he. He is blue, a sort of lovely sky blue that you get on a summer day. A bit like the blue banner at the top of here. He was made in 1974.
So, any suggestions for names? As it's a van the more quirky/humourous the better

I've always loved what these guys have called their campers. Enjoy him! :)

aaah nostalga!

we had a yellow one and it was called the yellow peril as he was a bugger!

enjoy, ours was a money pit though and we had to get rid of it as i was sick of having to wrap a duvet round myself every time i got in it. would love one now though as we have three kids and they would LOVE it too

make sure you do the vdub sign to all fellow campers on the road Grin

He's lovely. Still not completely sure of this name. DH spends all his time singing Mr Blue Sky at it. Looking forward to lots of days out/picnics and weekends away Grin.

Oh and I got the reg the wrong way round, it's NHS xxxL

You need a naming ceremony now. It's got to include a bottle of plonk of course, like her maj' when she names a warship... Only perhaps you want to just tip a little bit on the bonnet rather than smash the whole bottle and get glass on the floor? Wouldn't want to use too much of course, wine is a mild acid y'know. Think of the paintwork. Can't imagine what to do with all th leftover wine you'll have? Perhaps you can? Grin Wine

Loving Kenneth. I think our campervan may be named! Grin Grin Grin. I'm sooo excited, this might be even more fun than having kids! Though I suspect it might end up being as expensive Wink

What are the three letters in the registration? Whenever my family have named a vehicle we've used those letters. We've had Kenneth (KNH), Henry (HRY) and Reykjavik (RKV!)

Underachieving · 09/03/2011 16:57

Clive! Oh it's got to be Clive, a 1970's name if ever I heard one.
