How about Aprilly?

smother · 08/03/2011 15:38

April Lily (no hyphen) is beautiful - job done!!

Abr1de · 08/03/2011 15:30

Lily-Tilly gets my money.

cumbria81 · 08/03/2011 15:30

Tilly is a ridiculous name and should be avoided at all costs.

babytrekkie · 08/03/2011 15:13

I would choose April-Lily. There's every chance though that people will just call her April which is a pretty name anyway. I'm guessing she's due in April!!?
I'm calling my little girl Elizabeth Rose (if she's born in June, as rose is a flower associated with June). I was going to call her Elizabeth Lily if she's born in May but decided on Elizabeth May instead!

melpomene · 08/03/2011 15:09

April is nice, and Lily is nice, but April-Lily sounds like a tongue twister to me (try saying it 3 times quickly!)

I think it would be better with one as first name and the other as middle name.

greenzebra · 08/03/2011 14:38

I like April-Lily

PepsiPopcorn · 08/03/2011 14:34

Lily April or April Lily, with no hyphen.

Tilly is a nickname and too trendy.

ChocolateBrownieGuilt · 08/03/2011 14:23

Kando- that is why i chose it. Grin classy and underused at the moment.

Please dont go with the others..... and if you have to why not use the second name as the middle name and lose the hyphen?

KenDoddsDadsDog · 08/03/2011 14:22

April Lily (no hyphen)

kando · 08/03/2011 14:20

April Lily is lovely. Elizabeth - eh? Great name (it's dd3's name) but it's got nothing to do with April, Lily or Tilly!!

supergreenuk · 08/03/2011 14:15

April-Lilly

candleshoe · 08/03/2011 14:13

Great name! Elizabeth is one of my favourites.

ChocolateBrownieGuilt · 08/03/2011 14:12

how about Elizabeth?

candleshoe · 08/03/2011 14:10

It makes me think of those southern U.S.A. trailer trash names - sorry! Individually all those names are fine.... except Tilly isn't a proper name of course.

RitaMorgan · 08/03/2011 13:52

Hypenated is horrible and trashy, don't do it!

April Lily is lovely

Tilly is a nickname

breadandhoney · 08/03/2011 13:46

Don't like hyphenated names but as first name and middle name Lily April is ok. don't like Tilly at all and think April Lily is a bit too easter lily! sorry, but i'm guessing u were looking for honest opinions.

5DollarShake · 08/03/2011 13:44

Why hyphenated?

Why so little-girl-cutesy?

lovenest · 08/03/2011 13:43

I know what you mean about hyphenated names, I didn't intend to go down that road but all the Lilys at school have to be Lily-Grace, Lily-Rose, Lily-May etc to tell them apart. Because I love April and hubby loves Lily thought could join them up somehow. Love Tilly too! confused dotty com!

April is lovely, Lily getting very popular now (I don't know if that bothers you, I know it bothers some people).

I'd go for April and Lily as middle name. Hyphenated names can sound a bit OTT when you're calling across the playground

ThisFeelsWeird · 08/03/2011 13:30

I like April. Don't hyphenate, please. She is a baby, not a dolly.

TrillianAstra · 08/03/2011 13:27

First name April middle name Lily.

SnapFrakkleAndPop · 08/03/2011 13:26

Will she be born in April? Is so then not as a first name! And definitely no hyphen.

April Lily if not born in April, Lily April if she is.

Pinkjenny · 08/03/2011 13:22

April Lily. Without the hyphen.

My name is hyphenated but I never use the second name. Ever. My friend's little girl's name is hyphenated also, and they very rarely use the second name now.

Greythorne · 08/03/2011 13:21

They sound like pretend names that my 4 yo would come up with when naming her dolls. Sorry.
