Loving the name Luella!

I was just looking through some posta and noticed a posters name Luella. I have instantly fallen in love with this name...what do you think?

Thanks girls for your feedback. Its a Marmite name- u either love it or hate it!I'm going to defo keep it in mind for the future tho.

DD's BF at nursery is called Luella, nn Lulu. She's a very pretty and sweet little girl, it really suits her.

There's a Luella at DS's preschool. It sounds charming with an Italian accent. Could you get everyone to cultivate one?

Go outside and yell it in an ozzie accent, see if you like it then. I know an Australian who called her dd Luana, almost as bad. They're a bit USA trailer park. IMHO.

I have a good friend called Luella & think its a lovely name. It gets shortened to Lu quite often.

Also Lu for short. Not much difference from Lou short for Louise. I think it's pretty :)
