We are trying to come up with something a bit different but not "out there".

What do you think of Ansel?

Any inspired middle names to go with it?

Is it just too different?

:)

Sorry but I think it is "out there".

Love it and it doesn't make me think of a spot cream in any way at all, lovely name.

I knew of an Anson, I always quite liked that. Ansel is a bit...odd. But I don't know why

I would think of Ansel Adams, too. I think tummytickler is right about a traditional mn.

I'm not sure what I thought if it TBH! It might work, but first thoughts were that you'd either missed the "H" off Hansel, or the "m" off Anselm.

I would assume you were a fan of Ansel Adams - he is amazing so no bad thing.
It is quite nice, not too different, but not too boring either - lovely. I would go for somethign classic in the middle, Edward, Jonathan, Gregory, Thomas
