When I was pregnant with my 2 DS's I had boy and girl names decided on before the 20 week scans!

I had 2 DS's, and after the last one we decided no more, so my girl name will go unused and I feel a little sad about it. It was a great name.

Anyone else feel like this Grin

I've always had a secret(ish) crush of Iphegenia, Ianthe and Eric but as we are 3 and out there will be no more babies.

On the plus side I did get to have a Lilith, Alethea and Callia with the middle names of Louise, Ivy and Seren so it wasn't all bad Grin

Arf - he is actually. With 2 under 2 though he complains he doesn't get enough so I'm sure he'd be happy for any offers!

Tortoiseonthehalfshell · 28/02/2011 06:09

I don't know, is he any good?

Boobz · 28/02/2011 05:43

Zeus. Just don't have the balls but love it.

We shall have a #3 eventually, and my favourites are Valentina and Claudia for a girl, and Dashiell for a boy.

Friend has just given birth to a son (I have 2 DDs) and am now BROODY for a boy but know if I have another girl, I get to use Valentina or Claudia so it's all good Grin which I think go very well with her sisters' names (Penelope and Constance)

This thread making anyone else feel like jumping into bed with DH?

cluelessnchaos · 28/02/2011 05:28

Isobel Cecelia, the Cecelia after a wonderful auntie who kept her dignity and grace throughout having althziemers and cancer. Feel quite sad just had dc4 and dh says no more.

I love nyree by the way

WorzselMummage · 28/02/2011 05:20

Rory
Samuel
Stella
Lucy

pastapestoforgotherpassword · 28/02/2011 04:52

Cassius Oscar India and Iris, but that would make 8 dc's! Eeeek

Tortoiseonthehalfshell · 28/02/2011 04:25

Clara, because DD's middle name is Clare. I thought I only wanted one child and never thought about subsequent names. And now I am irrationally convinced that Clara is the best girl's name ever and would also make a lovely sibset with Edith.

elvisgirl · 28/02/2011 04:21

Gethyn or Selwyn if we have another boy. Altho DP is Welsh he can't pronounce "th", pronounces it as "f", so any names with a "th" in them are verboten. & Selwyn is too close to DS1's name.

Chooster · 28/02/2011 01:44

Kitty and alexa here! Would have had a battle to persuade Dh with kitty. it he loved alexa.

Florence....love it so much but it rhymes with our surname! Sad

MoonGirl1981 · 27/02/2011 22:54

Reuben, Bailey, Sunshine, Elwood.

Not really a finacial option for us to have another child.
:(

thefirstMrsDeVere · 27/02/2011 21:45

Yes I do. I cant always remember which order DC5's names are in Grin

A couple with 3 syllables William and Cassius but most have one or two.

I know its a bit mad but I have my reasons.

DD and DS1 only have the one and two middle names (DS1 got my dad's).

DS2 is adopted and had a few but we wanted to give him some. DD chose one (which is now especially important) and I chose one. We did ask DS1 but he only came up with Legolas Hmm

DS3 has the long masculine version of his sister's name (William) and DS4 has the short masculine version (Billy). Poor DS4, he is my last so I squeezed my other favourites too Grin

medoitmama · 27/02/2011 21:27

thefirstmrsdevere Do you ever get muddled up? Are any of the names more that two syllables?

thefirstMrsDeVere · 27/02/2011 20:59

seven my DCs have (in order) 1 middle name, 2 middle names, 4 middle names, 3 middle names and 4 middle names Grin

Susankennedysknickers · 27/02/2011 20:55

George
Isaac
Claudia

Dc5 is going to be a girl but dh hates Claudia

:(

sevendwarves · 27/02/2011 20:55

shivster more than 2 middle name would just be cruel, lovely that one of his names is the same as your DH's though!

ThatisNotMyName · 27/02/2011 20:54

Calypso. We're just to average Sad

shivster1980 · 27/02/2011 20:48

thefirstMrsDeVere We would probably have done that too had it not been for the fact that one of DS's names happens to be my DH's name which seemed correct to leave as it was - a lovely coincidence. Plus we weren't brave enough to give him more than 2 middle names. Grin

Trinaluce · 27/02/2011 20:48

Olivia or Oliver

I know they're popular as all get out at the moment so probably would have steered clear anyway: but my surname is Oliver. Just can't do it!

aftereight · 27/02/2011 20:41

Tabitha & Benedict :)

bibbitybobbityhat · 27/02/2011 20:40

Never had my Dorothy or Edward.

Never mind, am very very happy with my lot.

5inthebed · 27/02/2011 20:40

Naomi, I hav three boys and no more.

I also love the name Duncan, but DH didn't like it. DS3 would have made a great Duncan.

medoitmama · 27/02/2011 20:38
