Dh likes Susan, we have whittled down our long girls list to 10 or 12 now, but this is his favourite, and the only one he has suggested himself.

So what do we think of Susan? Definately not Susannah, just Susan.

I love Susie.

Susan would be different. The only one in her class.

I agree Susannah is the version that would be the most predictable choice now, but I see a backlash coming against all the names ending in -ia, -a, ella, elle, bel

Personally I prefer Susannah. To me, it's a little bit like the difference between Julie and Julia. I love the nn Susie for a little girl.
