I have a feeling I know how this will go down, but just to check!

If it's not Ivy, it's going to be Kate, but I just can't help feeling that although Kate is liked, it's just a bit dull..

Thanks all Smile

I like Ivy best.

thegreylady · 07/05/2012 17:34

Oh-just seen she is martha Elisabeth which is really lovely-Congratulations :)

thegreylady · 07/05/2012 17:33

The two names would go together well
Ivy Kate

welovesausagedogs · 07/05/2012 16:48

Ivy is a much more interesting pretty name than kate. However i am a bit biased as one of my little girls is called Ivy.

pointydog · 14/03/2011 19:43

Oh, congratulations! Martha is lovely.

TattyCatty · 14/03/2011 19:38

I don't like Ivy.

I do like Kate

alexaj · 14/03/2011 19:26

Kate is really really boring, so I prefer Ivy. I dunno, it works.

specialsmasher · 13/03/2011 21:25

Oh that's a shame. I LOVE the name Ivy. Would use it for one of mine but I already have a Hazel and don't want to start a theme.

But whatever you decide will be perfect and within a week yo won't imagine them called anything else

specialsmasher · 09/03/2011 21:19

No sign - hospital appointment tomorrow, to check dd still happy in there & set a date for induction. No decision yet! Not Ivy, though... I like it still, & Esme too Smile but not an agreed choice for us.

Oh no!!! No sign at all?! poor you.
Have you made a name decision yet?! I'm still on Ivy or Esme, but DH is still saying he doesn't like Esme, which is my favourite Sad.

lovenest · 08/03/2011 13:38

I love Ivy!

specialsmasher · 08/03/2011 10:47

I suspect Kate & Catherine are going to get even more popular post Royal Wedding!

growing3rdbump · 28/02/2011 18:01

Due date today??? Let us know what you go for when baby arrives!

potatofactory · 27/02/2011 13:12

Thanks SE13! Smile

SE13Mummy · 27/02/2011 01:00

I've taught two girls named Ivy; one is now 16, the other 7 and from completely different backgrounds (Nigerian and White British) but both fun, intelligent, lively girls. Ivy's a great name!

HenriettaFarthingay · 25/02/2011 16:01

Ivy - no, just no.

Kate - why not the proper name, Catherine, Kathryn or something, and Kate as a nickname?

peeriebear · 25/02/2011 15:57

My friend has a gorgeous little Ivy :)
I think Kate will look like you named her after Ms Middleton.

potatofactory · 25/02/2011 15:55

It would be Katherine, Maud.
