Sossiges, did you read The Family from One End Street by Eve Garnett too? I always think of Carnation Lily Lily Rose in the book whenvever I hear of yet another baby Lily or Rose!

Sossiges · 09/02/2011 02:13

How about Carnation Lily? Or go the whole hog and have Carnation Lily Lily Rose.

MelinaM · 09/02/2011 01:34

Lily-Rose is EXTREMELY popular, I'd go with Lily Rose, keep it as too separate namesSmile x

Tinkerisdead · 08/02/2011 22:45

I thought this was going to be about that green balloon club child.

NancyDrewHadaClue · 08/02/2011 22:39

Not a fan of hyphenated names at all.

And just to warn you I have a Lily and whilst there are not too many of them her age about, we cannot go anywhere without meeting at least one other.

Changeisagoodthing · 08/02/2011 22:34

Lily Rose and then if she hates it she can be just lily. If she loves it she can be lily rose.

Firawla · 08/02/2011 22:33

Lily Rose without the hyphen i think.
It always makes me think of green balloon club though, but I do like it

avaj · 08/02/2011 21:13

I know of two babies who are both Lily Rose, and two Lily's.

HollyGoHeavily · 08/02/2011 20:52

Lily is a lovely name, Rose is a lovely name. Not so keen on them shoved together and hyphenated.

Bumperrlicious · 08/02/2011 20:51

None, Lily or Rose on its own.

CilantroLarry · 08/02/2011 20:47

Lily Rose.

No to the hyphen.

There is a Lily-Rose at dd's nursery. And a Lily-Mae and a Just Lily.

MrsTicklemouse · 08/02/2011 20:46

Lily Rose definitely

AnnieLobeseder · 08/02/2011 20:46

And WTF with LilyRose? She's not a software package! Grin

AnnieLobeseder · 08/02/2011 20:45

Lily Rose. They're two names. Keep it that way.

thisisyesterday · 08/02/2011 20:44
