Meant to add that Philippa for a girl is possible.

SnapFrakkleAndPop · 03/02/2011 15:04

James is the Wessex boy so that's out IMO.

soda1234 · 03/02/2011 00:56

In case you are reading, William and Catherine, to include Philip and Elizabeth would be cool, you probably should stick Charles in too.
I think your first born should be called either Helena/Eleanor/Anna if a girl, and perhaps Edmund (Ned), Edward (Teddy) all are very classic and would go well with the middle names you'll have to use (you will have to use Diana).
I think as you live in Wales and are going to be Prince of Wales one day you must include a Welsh name, with the Welsh spelling, consider using, Owain, Gethin, Gareth Daffyd ,Huw,or for girls Medi, Myfannwy, Morwenna, Alis, Eirlys, Ffion, Angharad

I would say Philip is a strong contender for a boy's name, whether first name or subsequent.

Albert
Edward
Alfred
Leopold
Charles
Louis
Alexander
James

Adelaide
Mary
Alice
Victoria
Helena
Caroline
Frances
Alexandra
Anne or Anna
Julia
Margaret

Plus Diana but probably not as a first name, and possibly Catherine as a second or third name too

anonymosity · 02/02/2011 21:49

If you look back at their patterns of naming, they NEVER choose a name from recent relatives - only past, historic.

ValiumSandwichTime · 02/02/2011 21:03

Caroline Diana for a girl (carol a nod to Kate's mum, but the more regal version of Caroline)

anonymosity · 02/02/2011 05:20

i agree, Maud is likely - not Elizabeth - too many too recently
what else is left for the boys? Edmund, Henry, Klaus?

WetAugust · 02/02/2011 00:30

Elizabeth or Frances (Diana's middle name) for a girl and Philip or Henry (after his brother) for a boy.

Mumcentreplus · 01/02/2011 20:30

First son called Lampard of course!...Grin

I@m sure they'll take that into account.

LittleCheesyPineappleOne · 01/02/2011 19:40

The article had given them all at least four middle names as well, but I can't remember any of them.

I don't want them to use Mary as that is DD's name.

Englebert Hofflestein von McDonalds

tummytickler · 01/02/2011 19:30

Matilda, Eleanor, Charlotte for girls.
John, Harold, George for a boy.

I hope not Mary too! I love it so much, and might want to use it, but wont if they use it!

Hullygully · 01/02/2011 19:28

Or Frankly-you-don't-matter-much.

Hullygully · 01/02/2011 19:28

Vera for a girl. Or Audrey.

mcfee · 01/02/2011 19:26

Isn't she called Autumn or Summer or something not Savannah?

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 01/02/2011 19:26

I bet Diana for a middle name though...

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 01/02/2011 19:25

They haven't really got much to choose from, have they? All lovely names, but if you were Kate/Catherine wouldn't you just be itching to go for Kourtney or Beau Blu? Grin

Hullygully · 01/02/2011 19:25

Alfred von Findawinkel Hapsburg Frederick William of Prussia Becks Spenser Not-German-at-all Britisher. I'm thinking.

SecretNutellaFix · 01/02/2011 19:23

Charlotte, Sophia or Georgina may feature for a girl middle names Victoria, Anne, Margaret and Elizabeth middle names

Edward, Philip, Charles or George may feature for a boy

Megglevache · 01/02/2011 19:23

Maud for a girl and Leopold for a boy.

Or Colin...
