help me choose from this list please

Hi there
I think I've got it narrowed down to these - he will have an older brother called Zac - please could you help me choose your favourite?

(Please try not to slate the others unless there is a good reason i haven't realised as all of these are serious contenders!)

I agree chippingin - i like all the names but none of them seem to 'go' with zac

I might have to create a new list and ask again. good thing I've got a couple of weeks left!

I think Matthew goes best with Zac, but I prefer Matthias, personally.

I think Charlie is the only one that 'goes' with Zac. The others are OK boys names, but to me they are in a different 'set' of names and I would pick names from the same 'set' if that makes any sense what-so-ever!! :)

Personally, I'm not keen on Charlie because it is a nickname.

Christopher I like but I don't like Chris, and that is probably what he would get called.

I like Nicholas best. I like Nick and Nicky (for a little boy).

My brothers Matthew and kids dads Christopher. You cant go wrong with these names. Matthews good and still popular. I like simple boys names. I have 3 girls. My boys list was:

Matthew
Christopher
Mark
Lee

Matthew for me :)

Matthew is a great name, really underused and I had it on my list for DC2 (but she was a girl!).

Also like Nicholas, as well I think it's underused.

Christopher - nice, not as keen as the others.

Charlie - least fave, no particular reason. Royal connotations probably.

I like Matthew best as I've not heard of many babies called Matthew of late. Charlie is constantly popular (its even my nickname!) which puts me off it, personally.

I'd put them in this order:

Matthew
Christopher (could call him Topher for short, which is an interesting nn)
Nicholas
Charlie

But think that Charlie goes best with Zac Smile

Charlie is lovely and goes well with Zac. Christopher - love the nn Kit, but not Chris.
Nicholas - nice but do you like Nick, the inevitable nn.
Matthew - OK but only if you like nn Matt!

Matthew- a little bit boring and ordinary

Nicholas- great name, will prob get calledx Nick...would this boher you?

Christopher- Seems to be making a bit of a come back. Again it will be shortend

Charlie-Lovely, quite a few around at present but who cares!!

I quite like the first 3, but am less keen on Matthew (for no particular reason).

I love Nicholas.It is a classic name and works shortened or left as is.Although it doesn't go all that well with Zac,unless you use Nicky rather than Nick.I like Christopher too.

I've taught lots of boys called Charlie and they have all been lovely boys with really sparky personalities.
