Eilidh (pron. A-lee) or Anna

Hi
Currently torn between Eilidh Katharine, or Anna May.
Anna is easy to say, nice, if a little run of the mill and girlie.

Eilidh (prounounced A-lee) is fairly common up here in Scotland, so people should know how to spell and pronounce it, but posts from fellow Eilidhs around the world say that although they love their name, most people get it wrong. Does this matter?

Anna is lovely.

I think you would get tired if explaining the pronunciation of Eilidh, as it goes against the norm of the better known Eileen/Aileen pronunciations.

Anna - beautiful

Eilidh is nice but sounds imo like a few other names it could get confused with, plus there is the pn/spelling issue beyond the confines where it's popular.

PS: I was told "think Celidh without the C", which was a really easy way of remembering.

Eilidh is lovely. I know one (in England). Once you're told, you remember. I think it's very pretty and prefer it to Anna which is everywhere!
