That's it really, I really like pie but am stuck for a 'proper' name that could be shortened to this.

Thanks!

I like it with a silent F: Fpie

Chrysanthemum5 · 27/01/2011 19:29

Anything you like! DD's name is eilidh but DH calls her pie sometimes as that's his nn for her. Can't actually think of a name that could be shortened to pie though.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 27/01/2011 19:29

Thanks for suggestions so far, am liking Magpie, but DH says aparrently it's not a 'proper' name. Hmm

Any thoughts on spelling? Pi vs Pie/ Pai?

Pyewacket. She was one of a witch's familiars in ye olden days. It has a certain panache to it.

PatientGriselda · 27/01/2011 18:51

Paikea! A Maori name, pronounced pie-kay-a. The name of the lead character in the film WhaleRider, and it's shortened to Pie in that as well.

Bue · 27/01/2011 18:00

Closest would definitely be Pia. I think it's very pretty.

mopsyflopsy · 27/01/2011 17:53

Pia is a lovely girls name.

ivykaty44 · 27/01/2011 17:51
