I knew OP was a Smith.

SoupDragon · 26/01/2011 16:15

New York New York would work. Two names, yes, but so good you used them twice.

MarioandLuigi · 26/01/2011 16:11

Jennifer Lopez is 'forign' though - if she were English she would probably be called Jennifer Jones.

Jordan is a stage name - you do realise that dont you?

50 cent?

UrsulaBuffay · 26/01/2011 16:05

OMG the 'forign' bit is genius

oftenpurple · 26/01/2011 16:05

I think you've got it there - 50 Pee or perhaps 50 Pence for the more formal occasion and Hello! interviews.

I'm also partial to One Pound Fifty but it's a bit of a mouthful, to be honest.

Fimbo · 26/01/2011 16:00

Last time I looked, Kerry was a normal name.

Jennsdiaries · 26/01/2011 15:56

all celebs have not normal names like posh 50 cent jordan kerry katona . you dont see a celeb called like tracy jones or nothing do you. even jennifer lopez has got that forign name last what makes a diffrence compared with someone whos just got a normal one.

You are avin a larf innit?

Why go for something as conventional as Jenn? Here are some much better suggestions:

Onetwo Onetwo - always gets a namecall at gigs

Arf Arf - every dog knows your name

Snap Snap Smith ?

Ding Ding has a nice ring too ....

Hatterbox · 26/01/2011 15:46

Everyone will be talking about the 'kid' for all the wrong reasons!

Bertina · 26/01/2011 15:46

lol at chinny chin chin

Fimbo · 26/01/2011 15:44

I have tears rolling down my face at this thread. Thanks Jennsdiaries for the best laff in ages. I like the way you are taking it all on the chinny chin chin.

Shock
MarioandLuigi · 26/01/2011 15:38

If he sticks around Hmm

Bertina · 26/01/2011 15:35

Yes, your kid will have an advantage and be famous and that like what the celabs are innit.

You will be well minted coz you can sell stories on him innit.

For this exact reason I named my children the following:

Fucking Bastard Bertina
Page Free Stunna Bertina
Stop Thief Bertina
Bertina Bertina Ghali
Now Closer Hello OK Grazia Bertina

and the next one will be either

Big Fat Gypsy Wedding Bertina
or
Monster Truck Bertina.

I feel very sorry for those of you who stick to boring names, your children will be ridiculed by parents and teachers alike, and probably get beating in the playground for being called Thomas or Emma. You suckaz!

ShirleyKnot · 26/01/2011 15:33

a bit like Jean Jeanie

Jennsdiaries · 26/01/2011 15:32

i think jen jennifer is prob best as jen is short and quick and good for with yer mates and stuff but jennifer is well classy and sounds important and formal and would be good for getting a job or in a film but at the same time you could short it to jenny or something if you wanted so you got that flexy if you want it

Oh come on, who is it? You're good Grin

ShirleyKnot · 26/01/2011 15:25

They really won't.

poppyknot · 26/01/2011 15:25

There were so many reasons it was not a good idea..........

Jennsdiaries · 26/01/2011 15:23

puppyknot this is exact what im talking bout. if you got a good name you just use it twice and you get everyone talking bout it and the kid will have an advantege over the other ones

I asked the question last week whether it's ok to call your child the same first anme and surname.
My husband likes the name Charlie Charles as it was in a Harry Enfield sketch.
I on the other hand think that men shouldn't generally be let near baby naming.
If you want to call your baby Jennifer Jenn then fine, good luck!

ShirleyKnot · 26/01/2011 15:22

I don't think the celebs are earning money because they called their baby Apple or Mooncatcher.
