As 99% of the last few years' babies have had those middle names, how about doubling them up to ring the changes? (No hyphens though, mind.)

Phoebe May Belle
Heidi May Belle
Freya Belle Grace

Elsie and Annie are my favorites from your list.

Phoebe

I also like Freya and Annie. Annie Mae has a nice Tina Turneresque feel to it.

I don't like Bessy or Elsie at all.

PaisleyLeaf · 17/01/2011 23:24

I like Freya and Annie.
You couldn't have Animé or Anniebel though

Freya - like
Phoebe - like
Elsie - like
Edith ( edie ) - like
Annie - love
Heidi - quite like
Bessy - Not keen at all

Does Isla, Anya, Erin appeal. I know the old fashioned names are coming back but I have trouble with them I'm afraid cus they remind me of old aunties!

PlanetLizard · 17/01/2011 22:05

Freya - don't like, sorry
Phoebe - like
Elsie - like
Edith ( edie ) - like
Annie - like as nickname for Annabel/Anneliese or similar
Heidi - don't like
Bessy - like

I like Grace and Mae (although prefer spelling May). Not keen on Belle, sorry.

I think these are nice combinations...

Phoebe Mae
Phoebe Grace
Elsie Mae
Edith Grace
Edith Mae
Bessy Grace

all lovely names!

my only advice is imagine them being introduced as the newly elected prime minister, (smart, clever wonder woman) (say name out loud) and imagine screeching it across a play park as they attempt to 'fly' off the top of the very big slide.

ou also may not get the feel for the name until baby is born, we had Imogen but was quickly changed to Clara when she was born
