There was a little 1 year old girl in my shop last week and her name was Tracey. It was quite cute actually!

I was thinking of Denise for DD1's mn but chose another French name instead.

I'd add Geraldine and Thelma to the list.

I used to work in the dole (unemployment benefit) office and the travelling community all used to call their girls names like this, the boys wre all named after their fathers so you would get generations all coming in with the same name. One poor lad was called after his father and grandfather, his name was Bobby Robert Surname. I kid you not!

Queenie is a nickname. At the end of the 19th c it would have been used for DD's called Victoria, these days for Elizabeths. I guess it'll be Kate in a few years?

i worked with someone who called his children Percy, Mabel and Doris. I think i looked horrified. This was the late 80's. what about

DD is called Evelyn Elaine Rose which I love but I guess they're all quite 'old' names!
