. . . does anyone else find it odd that the same, relatively few names, are always in the top 10??
Why are Oliver and Jack, Olivia and Sophie so goddam popular do you think? I mean they are nice enough but consistant Top 10?
I find it really odd there isn't much more variation in this area

I don't really find it odd, as I think those names are relatively inoffensive, simple & go with most surnames.

I guess todays more unusual names will be in the top 10 in 30-40 years time, as when I was at primary school almost 40 years ago there were no Olivers, Jacks or Sophies. They would have been considered very old fashioned :)
