I need help and fast! I am due a week today, I am pregnant with fraternal twins, two girls :)
But here is where my problems begin.
I have always always loved the name Sapphire, I just love everything about and there is nothing anyone can say to put me off. My imaginary DD was always going to be Sapphire but now I'm having 2 !!!
I just can't find another girls name I like equally and don't want to do with second best as whichever child is named Sapphire seems favouritism. I have considered discounting Sapphire all together but I can't bring myself to do it.
I have two DS's called Sol and Flint... if that helps.

Please help me time is running out!!

Just to let you know, at 03.27 am on 10/01/2011
Sapphire Rose Phoenix was born
and at 03.39am on 10/01/2011
Estella Lily Phoenix was born.

They are both healthy and very beautiful, and look very different!

A big thank you to everyone who helped me choose Estella's name it suits her perfectly!
And thank you for all the opinions and suggestions.

Sapphire & Estella. Love Saffy and Stella - they sound like feisty, beautiful, strong women.

Good luck. Let us know when they're here Smile

K12Mom · 10/01/2011 13:58

Sapphire & Topaz.

chipmonkey · 09/01/2011 23:31

Jade is now a bit too popular though, compared with Sapphire. It would be a bit like calling them Ethelreda and Katie.

vickster11 · 09/01/2011 22:57

I like the idea of a gem could only think of three that goes with it;

Alexandrite - green colour gem.

Jade - come in three different colours

tanzanite - blue colour gem

chipmonkey · 09/01/2011 22:49

Ooooh contractions!!! Exciting!

Impers7 · 09/01/2011 21:22

A friend of a friend has twins and one of them is called Esther Aurora, which I think is lovely (can't for the life of me remember what the other one's called though!). I think that works well with Sapphire (which is a beautiful name by the way!)

I can't really think of any others which work better than those which have already been suggested - I have such a lack of imagination!

AnnOnimous · 09/01/2011 21:13

I like Sapphire and Serena.

TheMonster · 09/01/2011 20:49

Estella or Celeste get my vote for the other twin.
Let us know when they are here!

MistleToad · 09/01/2011 20:47

OOh how exciting!

Wishing you lots of luck and good birthing vibes!

Do come back and tell all.......!

ShoppingDays · 09/01/2011 20:29

Good luck!

AnnOnimous · 09/01/2011 20:27

Good luck, hope it all goes well for you, and for the two babies.

Wishing you an easy, and short, labour.
