Hi,

I've been banging on to DH about calling DC is DS..Hamish. DH isn't keen Sad He wants James...! Go figure it's the same name..just Scottish vs England...Wink
Anyway...on my brave list I had Tristan, Kit and Lawrence...DH has returned to me suggesting Tristan...Hurrah we are making headway..

What do you think?

Three syllable surname, starting with 'M'

Still pushing for Kit (for me this is super brave) and Lawrence.

Thanks,

I've already got a thread running ' DH's Boys Name's'. So sorry to trouble you all again...DC due in 6 weeks so you'll get rid of me then!!! Wink

Can't stand Christopher...so will just be plain Kit.

If we pick Lawrence...that will be his full name no nn..can't stand Laurie..god knows why i've selected it..Smile

Hamish is the best of the lot imo.

Don´t like Kit but do like Laurence & Trist(i)an.

I like Kit and Lawrence. Kit could be a nn for something else (Christopher).

I find Tristan kind of frilly.

I like Laurence with a 'u'. Laurie is a lovely nn.

I have a feeling lots of people will like Tristan on MN. I'm not a fan. It has quite a wet, effeminate vibe for me.

Not keen on Kit. Would you call him Christopher, or just Kit? I guess partly I dislike it because there are a lot of little Kittys around at the moment, so it has taken on quite a girly sound to my ear.
