Hi everyone,

just wondered what your opinions are on these names?

I really don't want it to, but Hector always makes me think of Hannibal Lector! And Bruno - Frank! Really sorry!

BarbieLovesKen · 01/01/2011 23:51

Oh I dont like either at all. Bruno is definately a dog's name to me.

Nightstar · 01/01/2011 23:48

Hector

tebbles · 01/01/2011 23:22

I don't like either very much but Bruno is better.

sophiesmummie · 01/01/2011 21:56

Bruno is nice.

Don't like Hector at all, I'm afraid. Apart from the meaning, what nicknames could you use - Heck, Hecky Hmm.

Hector: v. t. [imp. & p. p. Hectored; p. pr. & vb. n. Hectoring.]: To treat with insolence; to threaten; to bully; hence, to torment by words; to tease; to taunt; to worry or irritate by bullying.

They're both dreadful.

girliefriend · 01/01/2011 21:25

What does Hector mean Hmm !!! Not that keen on either tbh but Bruno would be more o.kay!!!

BaroqinAroundTheChristmasTree · 01/01/2011 21:18

neither - they're both dogs names.

exH had a staffie he looked after for a while called Hector - very cute puppy one - but it was still a dog.

and in Disney Cinderella she had a dog called Bruno

rachel234 · 01/01/2011 21:16

Bruno - lovely!

Dislike Hector (and its meaning).

bigbluebump · 01/01/2011 21:14

Bruno.

The meaning of Hector would put me off.

Hassled · 01/01/2011 21:12

Hector.
Bruno is either a bear or a Sasha Baron Cohen character.

Jojay · 01/01/2011 21:11

Bruno.
