Hi all, ive just found out im pregnant and although i have a long way to go before he/she arrives me and my partner are already talking about names. At this rate it will take us forever to find a name that we both like.I like traditional and unusual names but not wacky! for girls names i would like a girly name.

boys:
oliver (nn ollie)
archie
william
jenson
rafferty
dylan
roman
bruno

girls:
no ideas!

any suggestions for both boys/girls would be great.

Have you not got any shortlist for a girl at all jem21?

jem21 · 19/12/2010 09:47

willam and bruno are my favourite names from my list so far (this could all change) im not too worried about how popular the name will become as no child will be the same.tummytickler-thank you for your long list of suggestions.none of the girls names have hit me as 'the one'.

OP posts:
thisisyesterday · 19/12/2010 09:33

yes! does depend where you live

JiltedJohnsJulie · 19/12/2010 09:30

Thisis that must be a regional thing too as Archie is ridiculously popular here but obviously not with you Xmas Smile.

thisisyesterday · 19/12/2010 09:28

from your list my faves are:

Archie
William
Rafferty
Roman

Oliver and Dylan are ridiculously popular, so won't be "unusual" at all. Jensen is going the same way (cos of Button, presumably)

Bruno just sounds like a dog to me! or Frank
