Ok, so I've only just had our 2nd child (Arthur Henry) and I'm already pondering names for a third (don't worry we're thinking a 3 year gap is sensible).

Anyhow, I was thinking about slightly more unusual names and thought of this one. I do know a Clement who is only slightly older than me. I really like Clem as a nn which is what the child would be known as, I think (all supposing DH were to agree). What do folk think?

"Not sure I could be brave enough to use it myself"

Why is bravery needed to name a child Clement Confused?

GandalfyCarawak · 10/12/2010 11:29

Lovely!

I wanted Cledwyn nn Cled. DH said no.

My DH likes Clement and I can see the appeal BUT it always makes me think 'inclement weather' and Clem makes me think of 'clammy hands'Xmas Hmm

Hubby doesn't agree so that is probably just me! Xmas Grin

I like Clement. It is my granddad's name.
