Brodie (boy)

What do you think to boy name Brodie? (Scottish spelling as opposed to Brody american sp.) Husband is dead keen on this which makes me like it even more as he hasn't shown much enthusiasm for anything else. However, I also like Daniel, to be shortened to Danny. He thinks Daniel is a bit of a wuss's name!

Hmmmm do I know you I wonder? This has happened before.

DD has a Brodie in her class.

Brodie makes me think of a bronzed, handsome surfer type. Actually, wasn't that Patrick Swayze's character' name in Point Break?? [Light bulb goes on]

Anyhoo, I like it. Scottish spelling is nice and it's different.

DD has a Brodie in her class. He is very much a boy.

Feminine sounding. Reminds me of Broderie Anglaise.

Much prefer Daniel, it's a classic boys' name and not feminine at all.

Much prefer brodie!

I've not heard it before, but I quite like Brodie. A little different but masculine sounding to my ears.

Dan/Daniel is a little dull imo.

Really don't like it. Sounds more like a girl's name to me.

Love Brodie, very nice!
