I like it! Beautiful, different but not wacky. DH doesn't for some non reason.

ttalloo · 10/11/2010 04:58

It does indeed mean blonde, stardown.

I have a cousin called Xanthe, who I don't like, but even so I think the name is lovely.

Stardown · 10/11/2010 03:43

I'm pretty sure it means blonde?

Stardown · 10/11/2010 03:42

Sorry I know it is a favourite on here but I'm not too keen. I think it sounds very harsh on the tongue, although a part of me really WANTS to like it.

Beautiful. But Dh wasn't so happy with it. It was in my top 3. So unusual and lovely.
What does it mean again?
'zan' or 'thea' for short?

Well I love it Smile was on my short list but DP hated it we ended up with Robyn. He reckoned people wouldn't know how to pronounce it. My argument was only stupid people would struggle a bit snobby on my behalf I think though Smile
