Why all the excitement about what David Cameron would call their baby but not what Ed Miliband's will be? I am dying to find out...

Any suggestions. I reckon Jacob.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I think we are all erring on the side of caution with the Jewish names because he already has a Daniel which is like the Jewish John.

neolara · 09/11/2010 11:17

I'm guessing Kier.

KLou111 · 09/11/2010 10:41

Got to be Cameron lol!

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 09/11/2010 10:07

Surely it can't just be me who knows lots of Jewish people called things like Ian and Charlie, and practically none called Ezra or Jacob? :o

It would be nice if this baby got his mother's surname, I agree. Or are the kids double-barrelled?

Tantrumfly · 09/11/2010 09:57

Milliband is Jewish. The boy will probably be named after a deceased grandfather, If no deceased grandfathers, then uncles or great Uncles. Pretty much a good way of narrowing down names, however you would need the families genealogy to do it that way.

Definitely a name with a Hebrew Anglicisation, most of the guesses would be close, particularly because I am unsure whether Justine is Jewish

LucindaCarlisle · 09/11/2010 09:49

If he had been a girl Millicent would have worked well.

ROFL at massive selection of Jewish names on here - has he suddenly had a wave of faith come over him or something?

I hope he's going to get an eccentric Cornish place name as a middle name too. May I suggest Charlie Grumbla Milliband? Or perhaps James Karl David London-Apprentice Milliband.

I was going to say Elijah but not sure it goes with Daniel?

mathanxiety · 08/11/2010 22:51

I would like to know how they chose the older baby's name (Daniel, a Jewish name originally) and whether it has family significance.

Xenia · 08/11/2010 22:24

I thoguth he was an aetheist who is living in sin having illegitmate children not named on his first son's birth cert. I doubt he'll be picking Jewish names and his girl friend isn't Jewish anyway by birth so presumably his children aren't technically Jewish anyway.

EccentricaGallumbits · 08/11/2010 22:03

does it need to be jewish? is ed jewish? [clulss]

I think Eli

or norbert

Jaquelinehyde · 08/11/2010 21:49

FellatioNelson · 08/11/2010 21:15

I'll go with Isaac or Jacob. I reckon David will be the middle name by way of apology for fucking up his life.Grin

SpeedyGonzalez · 08/11/2010 20:45

In which case, my source must be psychic...how spooky!

thereisalightanditnevergoesout · 08/11/2010 20:40

Their eldest is 18 months old.

SpeedyGonzalez · 08/11/2010 20:30

I am thoroughly confused. I met Ed Miliband just over a year ago, and at the time someone told me they were expecting a baby. Someone please tell me they haven't had (a) a 12-month pregnancy; (b) two babies within 13 months of each other.

Re names I vote for Blair Anthony.

Arf.

RJandA · 08/11/2010 20:25

Is his first son a Miliband?

Hopefully this one will be a Thornton.

I know, I know, they're getting married, (boooo to political peer pressure) but I kind of hope she'll keep her name.

magicOC · 08/11/2010 20:04

Ethan Joel Edward

mathanxiety · 08/11/2010 19:53

I laughed so hard tea shot out my nose at the comment on one site reporting the new arrival that the older brother should be feeling a bit anxious...
