Please choose one or the other!

Once again we are still unsure about which name to choose. We have now decided on either:

Charis (rhymes with Paris)

or

Tamsin

Please could you say which name you think is nicest. Our DD1 is called Valentina so bear that in mind too.
Thanks so much and this IS the last time I am going to ask for advice as I am SURE we can narrow it down to one after this!

Love Valentina! The other names are fine, but are not the same style or sound as 'special' to me.

How about Sara instead of Zara? Sounds the same but looks prettier imo.

I don't like either and they don't go with Valentina which is lovely. I think you need a much prettier name than these.

Valentina goes with Lucia, Carmela, Aida, Clarissa and Giovanna.

Ooooh...someone mentioned the Charis- cannabis connection before but didn't think it was very well known. Maybe we will have to re-think Charis....oh so confusing! Does anyone have any other suggestions that would work with Valentina??

I know a Charis, she is lovely, and spelling is not an issue. Some people need to be told once, and that's it.

Valentina and Charis (like)
Valentina and Zara (like)
Valentina and Lauren (not sure on the names together).

If Valentina is ever shortened to Tina, then Tina and Lauren go together.

I always associate Lauren with Lauren Bacall.

With Valentina I like Xanthe too.

I like Charis. If you plan to live in the UK, you might want to consider spelling it in a way that the "K" prounciation is more obvious...

Love Valentina and think Zara is nice but imo a sister for Valentina needs to have a name with some feminine drama!

Charis is a lovely name, but I think you'll be forever telling people how to spell it. I think you need a pretty strong name to go with Valentina. What about:

Scarlett
Saffron
Magenta
Carmen?

The only thing with Zara is the connection to the shops....do you think this is a problem? I think Valentina and Zara probably sound the best together.

I love the name Zara too. I loveall three names, but in order of preference:

Charis
Zara
Lauren

Afraid I dont like Tamsin.

I wanted to call DD Tamsin but Dh wouldn't have it. I STILL mention it now and DD is 13...

And what about Zara? As you can tell we are very undecided and change our minds constantly!! Zara was also in the running at one stage...
