Abraham or Solomon

Which do you prefer?
These are dh's top names for a boy at the moment, I like them both, one better than the other. He hates my favourites, so at the moment these are our only options.

Other ds have OT names (AMos and Eli), dd's do not have OT names.

Solomon. There was a Solomon in my high school and he had the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen.

I have a Solomon so am biased. Good nicknames plus nice full name I think. always had good reactions to it as well, and haven't met another one yet.

we have an abraham in our family and he has always hated it. at school they used to call him hammy!

i know a solomon and he loves his name (as do i) and gets called solly

I have a Sol, but call him Solly or Solomon. It's a lovely name.
I had a gerbil called Abraham though.

i really like Abraham actually.
like solomon, but not as much, tho i do know a couple of little solomons
