I know I've done this before but I'm due today and not sure I feel any clearer about which name to use.....

Maisie or Madeleine.

We would shorten Madeleine to Maddy and Maisie could use Mai or Maia when older if needed/wanted a more grown up name.

What do you think? Be nice!

Madeleine!

Madeleine without any doubt.
Maisie is more of a babyish name, what with the 'ie' on the end. I don't think it suits an adult. Using Mai or Maia is using a nickname as a 'serious' name, which doesn't work IMO.

Also agree with BuntyPenfold, Maisie reminds me of a dog. Or a mouse.

Madeleine....!

Maisie just sounds a bit wishy washy...! :)

Madeleine is lovely, classic, classy, has a nice nn.
Don't like Maisie at all I'm afraid, perhaps because of all the dogs round here called (crazy) Maisie.
