BOYS
Teddy, Edward, Woody
Otis
Atticus - DP say's no!

GIRLS
Missie
Betty
Miller
Marnie
Misty

DS's name is Sonny, I'm Ginny, DP is Piers so we leaning on the unusual side.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
monkeymoomoo · 12/10/2010 15:22

How about Miller but spelt Mila?

I like Edward for a boy.

theagedparent · 12/10/2010 15:26

Betty or Teddy

Ishouldhavechosenagoldfish · 12/10/2010 15:33

Otis or Miller - like the Mila spelling, makes it more girly. IMO they go best with Sonny. Smile

SpiderWilliam · 12/10/2010 15:34

The only Miller I know is a boy Grin. What about Camilla for BC with Milla as a nn?

Rockbird · 12/10/2010 15:42

Boys' names are fine, Otis my least favourite.

Girls' names are are appalling, sorry. Missie and Misty are cats' names.

Miller is ok if spelled Mila.

nannynobnobs · 12/10/2010 15:42

I like Marnie. A girl I knew had two DDs called Marnie and Macy and they were such pretty little things :) Betty is nice too but Misty is a cat or a soft porn actress.
I like Atticus, I think its popularity is on the up.

fayc84 · 12/10/2010 16:54

Edward is nice and can be nicknamed Teddy when younger. I think Otis is cool but it just makes me think of Otis the Aardvaark from kids' tv when I was wee.

Marnie is the only girls' name that doesn't sound like a nickname to me. Missie and Misty sound like cats names and Betty is a bit old ladyish. Sorry... Sad

Notyetamummy · 12/10/2010 16:59

I like:

Edward nn Teddy (Please not Woody)
Otis

Elizabeth nn Betty
Marnie

Nando95 · 12/10/2010 17:10

Otis and Miller x

wisteria12 · 12/10/2010 17:49

BOYS
Teddy, Edward - Yes to both.
Woody - Immature
Otis - Nice.
Atticus - DP say's no! - Shame, it's my DS2's name so I obviously love it

GIRLS
Missie - No
Betty - OK, a bit eastenders
Miller - Seems very masculine to me
Marnie - Nice
Misty - Eurgh. Texan prostitute.

HighlandlassinLondonshire · 12/10/2010 17:54

I like:

Edward, Teddy or Ted. ( I also know a girl called Teddy, her real name is Antonia) And Miller.

If you go for Betty, would she be a Elizabeth? which can be shorted to Beth, Lizzie, Eliza and Izzy.

Rach109 · 12/10/2010 20:25

Otis and Marnie

BelligerentGhoul · 12/10/2010 20:30

Like Edward with nn Teddy. Love Atticus. Hate Otis, sorry and not at all fond of Woody either.

Don't like any of the girls' names, sorry.

Bagpusstree · 12/10/2010 20:34

Me too, Edward with Teddy for the boys, not really that keen on any of the others. Love Marnie for a girl.

funbun · 12/10/2010 21:36

Thanks, Misty and Missie out then! Don't like cats much.

Looks like Marnie or Miller. Think both go well with Sonny. Don't like Mila spelling, its a milkshake in Australia!

Think we're pretty set on Teddy anyway - might be Edward.

Milla (as in jovovich)

Bumperlicious · 13/10/2010 07:27

Like Otis, luurrrve Betty. Dh vetoed it though.

Wouldn't worry about the 5 weeks, dd2 was 6 days old before we could decide!

Bumperlicious · 13/10/2010 07:30

What about marcy or marcia?

pippylongstockings · 13/10/2010 20:56

I really like Edward/Ted/Woody - but then I am biased as I have a Woodrow/Woody. Also like Otis this was a storng contender for us too - what about Stirling ?

Betty is the best of your girls names - what about Betsy ?

Just to throw a few curve balls at you....Smile

yummymummie1 · 14/10/2010 12:18

I like all EXCEPT WOODY (shock) please not woody lol

badcoverversion · 14/10/2010 13:37

Otis and Marnie

jkklpu · 15/10/2010 23:19

Boys all OK
Don't like any of the girls, especially not Miller.
Try Milly or Milena (Russian girl's name, for which Mila - pronounced Meela - is a nickname)
Missie is awful
