Here are some boy names I like. DP doesn't. Suggest more please!

I have a fair few names that I quite like, but DP rejected most of them for DS, so I don't particularly see him going for them if DC2 turns out to be a boy.

I do like long names with a shortening available (DS has a longer name and is generally known by the shortened version), but I'm not totally and utterly set on that. I'm not hugely adventurous, but I'd like to be vaguely interesting (I'm not going to weep if there are 3 others in the class with the same name - DS's name is somewhere around 70-80 on the top 100 boys names for last year)

Anyway, names I like:

Nathanial
Sebastian
Cameron (really really like this, but taken by a close relative)
Alexander (again, really like this, used by v close friend)
Samuel
Mac (If I could think of a good long name to shorten to Mac, I'd totally be going for this, but DP thinks it's silly)

Mackenzie is nice.
Christopher (Chris, Kit or even Titfer - yes, I knew one)
Philip
Jonathan
Archie
Alastair
Peregrine (nn Perry or Pip)
Sylvester
Theobald/Theodore (bit over used atm though)

Jonathan? Frederick? Christopher? Matthew? Fabian? Joshua? Harold?

Would feel too awful stealing friend's baby name. Also, it's now so 'his' name in my head that it would feel weird.

DS's name has actually been mentioned now, so you're obviously all along the right lines!

I was thinking something like McKinley could be nice, but think DP would call me a crazy hormonal loon (which I am absolutely not, of course Grin)

Christopher, Daniel, Nicholas, Robert/Robin?

Or just go for Alex if you love it so much, and tell your friend, sorry, I have to pinch your DS's name because it's perfect... bet she won't object.

I like Nathaniel, and Nat for short.

Knew a boy called McKinley: sounds better than looks on paper; could be Mac for short. Tho actually quite like Mac/Mack

Or Ben/Benjamin
Or Jake/Jacob

What about Max (can be short form of Maximillian (sp?)).

Or Theo/Theodore

Or Felix? (no short version)
