Boy's name to go with Kaydn

Yummygummybear · 07/10/2010 16:40

I know you will all hate the name Kaydn but that is my 5 year old son's name, before it became popular & no we are not chavs!(or so I like to think Grin)

I am now expecting DC2, but struggling to come up with a boy's name. Top of the list so far is Alex...

Any other ideas?

I'm way too confused to help.

The OP is very discriminating. How come Kaydn is Ok but Jayden isn't? I really, honestly don't know where to start.

I think you might have to make something up.

I think:

Kaleb/Caleb
Cory

go nicely with Kaydn.

FrameyMcFrame · 07/10/2010 21:28

Seeing as Kaydn is Arabic in origin, how about another Arabic style name?

Ziad
Xavier

Sequins · 07/10/2010 21:24

Ooh I rather like Asher

rachel234 · 07/10/2010 21:20

I think the issue is that you're asking opinions of people who seem to have very different taste in names than you.

Personally neither Kaydn nor Alex would be high on my list, but as names they would not seem odd together. Also, I'd go for Alexander. Hope that helps.

OkayGrrl · 07/10/2010 20:56

Asher, it's a Biblical name which sounds quite modern.

thisisyesterday · 07/10/2010 20:51

i think Alex goes fine with Kaydn

and remember they won't be known as "Kaydn and Alex" for long. they're separate people and it makes no difference if the name "go" or not

so, pick the name you like best Grin

Loving "although we have a Kaydn we can't stand names like Jayden".

Erm, they're pretty similar aren't they?

Nathan?

NormanNorris · 07/10/2010 18:46

I think Theo goes well with Kaydn. I know a Jayden and Theo who are brothers so to me it flows well.

I think Leo, Noah, Dylan work well too.

MrToad · 07/10/2010 18:44

Alex is nice. I agree with other posters it sounds a bit odd with Kaydn though.

How about
Flynn
Joel
Zac
Beau
Luka
Kit (short for christopher)
Billy
Dexter
Xan

SoupDragon · 07/10/2010 18:27

What is it you don't like about Jayden and Bailey?

Fimbo · 07/10/2010 17:51

Kaydn and Alex just seem too opposite ends of the extreme for me. Although Alex is a lovely name.

Kaydn and Jordan

Kaydn & Caleb

Kaydn & Connor

Kaydn & Josh

Giddyup · 07/10/2010 17:42

I agree Max would go well Smile

TheCrackFox · 07/10/2010 17:41

I love Alex, stick with that.

Arlo is becoming popular too.

What about Oscar, Max, Harvey, Reuben, Felix, Joel - all quite trendy and having a revival imo.
