Any thoughts on Lupin (ok strictly speaking it's a boy's name, but it's also a flower) or Zinnia (one of the twins in the Darling Buds of May)? Looking for something botanical that isn't 'flowery'. Any other suggestions?

Nemesia, I know a woman with this name, I think it's lovely.

Tansy is lovely (a herb, I think)

How about Ianthe (means Violet)?

Hebe is nice.

Tansy
Hazel
Rowan
Fern
Fuschia (shades of Gormenghast..)
Zinnia could be due a revival.
Not so sure on Lupin - sounds bit like an Edwardian dunce..

Was going to suggest Zinnia when I saw your thread title. It's pretty.

Not sure about Lupin, remins me of loopy or professor Lupin, the werewolf.
