unusual meaning outside the top 50 preferrably out of top 100 either now or in the past eg not rachel or rebecca ,sara
unusual but not weird eg not mehitabel, jezebel
can't use naomi hannah jemima tabitha lydia or bethany as already used by close family members

Exactly. Judith daughter of Beeri the Hittite (now there's a fine name... OP, perhaps you could use Beeri if this turns out to be a DS rather than a DD) is in Genesis 26:34, and Genesis isn't deuterocanonical by any definition I've ever seen.

well i suppose my definition of biblical was a name in the bible...
In my case Judith is first mentioned as one of the wives of Esau (and from the hittite tribe) and is generally thought to be the feminine form of Judah which means the praise of the Lord, but most of these names would have been common in the surrounding areas too
