Fiona- nice or dated?

Just wondered what mumsnet think of that name Fiona? Now both me and dh love it but we are torn between Fiona and Miranda. My preference changes daily!

Dated for me - I know two FIonas both in late 30s -early 40s.

Miranda is beautiful though.

I knew an absolutely beautiful Fiona when I was growing up. She was one of the loveliest girls I have ever seen, and it has really positive associations for me.

Others may say it's a bit dated, but I really like it.
