I'm guessing not a lot of ppl would be bothered to say/spell the whole name, so what are nice possible nns?

not so nice nickname is Vangie...

Fanny

Well she might get an unconnected nn.

My daughter´s is Poppy LouBlush, which came about from me calling her Poppet.

allieballiebee · 22/09/2010 14:18

Why does it need a nn? My Evangeline is Evangeline. If I wanted her to be called Eva for example, I'd have called her that!

fanjolina · 22/09/2010 10:18

Vange

FerminaUrbinoDaza · 22/09/2010 10:11

My DD has a name with the same number of syllables and everyone says it in full. No problems.

coraltoes · 22/09/2010 10:09

Eve, Eva, Evie, Jelly, Lina (which i love)

DirtyMartini · 21/09/2010 23:40

I knew one when I was a child -- my friend's baby sister. AFAIK she never had any nicknames, it was Evangeline the whole way.

TheNextMrsDepp · 21/09/2010 23:36

I know two Evangelines. One is called Evie, the other Geli (pronounced jelly - awful!).

fedupofnamechanging · 21/09/2010 23:33

My DD gets called Evie a lot. Wish I'd discouraged it from the start as I chose Evangeline and want her to be called by her full name.

Other nn for Evangeline are Eva, Angel, Line (pronounced leena)

sedgiebaby · 21/09/2010 12:53

Jelly!

mollymax · 21/09/2010 12:48

I have always loved the name Evangaline ever since The house of Elliot.
She was nicknamed Evie.
Or you could go for Lin.
