One L I think.
I know a little Sorrel; a name that occurs in Noel Streatfeild.
One of my favourite flower names, until someone said 'Sorrow?'

I love this, but someone I know said it sounded too much like 'sorrow' which was a bit Sad. I still like it though.

The herb is spelled with one L.
I like it.
I also like Laurel, which doesn't have the 'sorrow' connection, if that worries you.

Sorrell is a surname.

For a first name (like the herb) it should definitely be one L. I love it, v. pretty.

I absolutely love the names Sorrell and Laurel but alas, with a sirname begining with R it is a bit of tongue twister!
Theres always Soren for a boy, which is nice.
