Finally!!!!!! decided on some names (due errr, now).

girl -
Sofia mae
Amelia mae

boy -
Samual Lachlan (dh hates Lachlan but I am going to fight my face off for it).

Think Sofia is my fav. I may shorten it to Fia every now and again because we are big on nicknames and bloody I hate ''Sof/Soph'' with a passion.

Is Fia acceptable? oui/non?

They will say Sofe at school, really they will.

Sorry but I think that Fia sounds like your DD is named Thea and you have a speech impediment. If you hate Sof/Soph then don't call your DD Sofia. Once she gets to school everyone will call her that anyway.
