Lola or Summer

Okay, baby due in 7 days now and love these 2 names but just can't decide.....

I know they are a bit 'cutesy' and not everyone's cup of tea so if you hate them both then please don't post (I'm very hormonal! Blush) but if you do prefer one to the other let me know as I'm having a really tough time deciding now!

Wondering which one will sound better as she gets older too? (not bothered about the high court judge test - I don't believe in all that!). Also not bothered about which is the most popular too.

Middle names will be Eleanor Rose.... Thanks!

Lola if it was short for something.

Summer if it would be just 'Lola'.

EldonAve · 01/09/2010 16:37

summer

I like Lola better, but I like them both!

monkeymiss · 01/09/2010 13:29

Summer.

Summer is a beautiful name.

Lola reminds me of transvestite from kinks song. I also think its a rather 'porn star' name.

serendipity16 · 01/09/2010 11:31

I like Summer..... i would do cos we have a Summer Smile

My daughter is 6 & her name is Summer Rose, which i think is a pretty name.

I've had no negitive reactions to the name Summer.

We loved Lola and Summer when having our 5th, in the end we went for Summer Eloise.
We now have a gorgeous 2 year old who calls her self Summie Bear Smile (as opposed to Gummy bear...her older sisters gave her the nn !)

Have to be honest and say when people have asked her name we get a lot of raised eyebrows, not to many people have liked the name Summer.

We don't care though, we think its lovely, just like her Smile

Good luck deciding, i think they're both pretty names and not to cutesy.
