These are my main three - any opinions?

Nina is a beautiful name. Not so keen on Lily or Eva though.

mazzystartled · 06/09/2010 20:40

DD is Nina, I love it.

Mum is Eva and she is horrifed by its current popularity - has always hated it, though I think it its quite cool myself. Lots of 'em about though
Never yet met a Lily.

KERALA1 · 06/09/2010 20:33

Eve/Evie etc are lovely names. In my daughters class one third of the girls have some variant of this name Shock. Dont do it - this name is officially full IMO.

GladioliBuckets · 06/09/2010 18:21

Nina on grounds of being less common and having a continental espionage-y glamour to it.

Spannaboo · 05/09/2010 15:06

People on here really have their claws out for Eve/Evie/Eva. Evie is my daughter's name and I picked it because I thought the Eve names were pretty timeless and wouldn't date.

I've only met 2 Evas round here in the last year. It's a beautiful name.

coraline77 · 04/09/2010 20:36

Nina is lovely. Other two are fine as well. I wouldn't worry about them being popular, that just means lots of people like the name which is better than picking a name that no one like just to be differant in my opinion.

VerityBrulee · 03/09/2010 11:44

Nina is lovely, lots of Lilys and Eve/Eva/Evies around here but I've never met a Nina.

Another vote for Nina.

Yes, Eve/Eva/Evie and Lily/Lillie are indeed very common and will date much more.

Kathleen123 · 03/09/2010 09:31

Nina is my favourite.

sparkle12mar08 · 03/09/2010 09:08

Nina, absolutely lovely. Eva also gorgeous but increasingly popular, though I certainly wouldn't say 'common' as in chavvy etc. Lily, not so keen on, I think Lilia is much better and runs better with your surname.

resistanceisfutile · 03/09/2010 00:12

Nina

stripeybumpsmum · 02/09/2010 19:57

I work with a lovely Italian lady called Lina - common there but not so much here.

rachel234 · 02/09/2010 13:31

Nina is gorgeous! I'm a little bored of Lily and Eva/Eve/Evie - they are everywhere here...

PYT · 02/09/2010 12:06

All nice names. Nina is probably the most unusual in the UK.

chaya5738 · 02/09/2010 10:18

I love Nina. It is on my list :)

prozacfairy · 02/09/2010 08:07

Lily is lovely but then I would say that Wink

Like Nina too but not keen on Eva.

BettyButterknife · 01/09/2010 22:22

Nina, definitely. I love it. Could take or leave the other two.

pozzled · 01/09/2010 21:18

Prefer Eva, followed by Lily.

ValiumSingleton · 01/09/2010 21:16

Nina , or Eve Nina

facebook · 01/09/2010 20:41

Nina is beautiful! My older sis name is Davina and when me and my brother came along we couldn't say Davina so we called her Nina until we were about 7 and it always reminds me of her to this day. Love it! Think it's so pretty and elegant.

horatia · 01/09/2010 16:46

Nina or Lily.

KittyBigglesworth · 01/09/2010 16:41

Nina.

Lily makes me think of 'fag ash Lil'. Eva is pleasant but Nina is better and goes well with your surname.

I love Nina and had it on my shortlist, so that is my favourite!
