I really like it.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Very popular I can think of 5 under 4. Odd choice if you dont have a strong French connection - like calling a boy Pierre when you are both from Basingstoke.

Very popular, a bit too popular IMO. I know 4, and I also know a few Amelias too.

washngo · 31/08/2010 19:03

I know 4, all under two.

resistanceisfutile · 31/08/2010 19:02

Very popular due to the film and IMO will date quite quickly (due to said film)

Oartistic · 31/08/2010 18:56

Common, in both senses of the word.

Pinkchampagne · 31/08/2010 18:55

It is quite popular now. I know of a few under 5.

Very

Know several under 5, although I do know a lot of French people!

KnitterNotTwitter · 31/08/2010 18:12

there were two in my post natal group of 20 ladies.... One's mum was French the other was English and I always got the impression she was a little embarrassed about it having met a proper French Amelie... For me it's a bit like Elodie.... belongs to someone else's culture...

Fredfred · 31/08/2010 18:11

I know 2! Lovely name though!

NiceCuppaT · 31/08/2010 17:50

Much prefer Amelia or Emily.

azazello · 31/08/2010 16:53

Very. DD is about to start pre-school and there will be 3 in her class of 20.

smother · 31/08/2010 16:46

I only actually know 1 but it feels very popular somehow
