Hi there,

We have a Logan, Autumn, Ocean and are now trying to think of another name that will go nicely.

We are trying to keep with the nature theme and also wondering if we need another 'n' name??

We are going round in circles and getting nowhere. The only names we have come up with are:

Beauden for a boy
Summer for a girl.
Sedona (we got married there).

All probably not right though - Beauden ?, Summer with Autumn probably too contrived and Sedona sounds like 'donor' plus it's a car.

Would so love any thoughts.

Hera
Joash

Uri
and, marvellously, Phoenix

Blaise,
Scarlett,

We have a Summer & we were considering either Willow or Autumn for a girl.
I know a lot of people will say that Summer & Autumn don't go together but Autumn is a lovely name.

Willow would be a lovely name to go with the other names that you have.

I don't have the problem now as i had my 20wk scan last week & were having our 4th boy.
Boys names are so hard to pick, yet theres so many beautiful names out there for girls.

A1980 · 22/08/2010 17:40

Winter

It can be used for a boy or a girl.

Hi CuppaTeaJanice, yes, still going round in circles. Just nothing seems to click. Some good suggestions though. Actually, I've just noticed the suggestion of Brooke - quite like that but hubby thinks it is too well used. I don't agree. Yes, I like your idea of a fire name but I don't like the actual names iyswim. And if it's a girl, not very feminine. Will have to make a decision soon as only a few weeks to go : ) How come you are still on here - similar predicament? : )

Still struggling to find a name? Cos you've posted this at least twice before under a different name (Mike1969 or something?).

Did you not like my idea of the four elements?

Logan - plant - earth
Autumn - season - air
Ocean - water

So a fire name?

Magma
Flame
Beacon
Umber
erm....the name of a volcano somewhere?

NorbertDentressangle · 22/08/2010 13:52

What about a name after a semi-precious stone/jewel

Topaz
Jasper
Amethyst
Opal
Garnet
Sapphire
Ruby

etc

deemented · 22/08/2010 13:50

I thought that too Grin

I'd go for Storm.

In fact, i'd have another baby just to use that name...

Sidge · 22/08/2010 13:49

Flaxen
Aspen
Briar
Cedar

elvislives · 22/08/2010 13:49

Just seen dee's list and

Logan, Autumn, Ocean and Storm sounds good Grin

SoupDragon · 22/08/2010 13:47

Beaudine or Beauregard? Bay?

elvislives · 22/08/2010 13:47

You can't have Summer with Autumn. Besides which it is very common now. Sedona is a car. You do realise that everyone will pronounce Beauden (is it a name?) as Bew-den?

Rowan can be boy or girl and is a tree.

Saffron is a plant, and also ties in with your n scheme.

TBH I would pick a 3 syllable name for the last one. (Magenta?)

deemented · 22/08/2010 13:45

What about...

Jupiter
Meadow
Blossom
Aspen
Timber
Bracken
Storm

SoupDragon · 22/08/2010 13:45

(actually it's more Bow dn rather than Den IYSWIM)

SoupDragon · 22/08/2010 13:44

Only poncier

SoupDragon · 22/08/2010 13:43

Both are pronounced Bow Den. it is the same as calling a child Dorothy-Perkins, Asda or Debenhams.

PuppyMonkey · 22/08/2010 13:43

I don't like it personally but Bracken might go with your lot....?

arizonagirl · 22/08/2010 13:39

Just looked at Boden - is it really that like Beauden? There are other names from shops that you don't really link - the first coming to mind is Dorothy, Marks, River etc etc. Or is there something else I am missing. Glad I have posted as if I am missing the point I need to know.

Any thoughts on Summer with Autumn or Sedona? Or any other brainwaves?

: ) Thank you

OP posts:
arizonagirl · 22/08/2010 13:36

Ok - point accepted. Off to google 'Beauden' never heard of the shop around here. Not too keen on Fern and it wouldn't go with our surname - but thank you for posting : )

NorbertDentressangle · 22/08/2010 13:34

Fern

-follows the nature theme and isn't too off the wall

SoupDragon · 22/08/2010 13:28

You can not, under any circumstances, call a child Beauden.
