Girls name - final choice - due today!

Am due today and if its a girl am undecided between:

Arabella Florence

Florence Arabella

We have a very short surname so need longer first name.

Final curve ball is India but hubby not keen.

What does everyone prefer? I HATE Flo so would have to be very disciplined re nickname and make sure people used Florrie and love Arabella but is it the sloaney with a pony or we have moved on from that?!?....xx

ALthough I prefer Bella to Florence. It's the 'ara' part of Arabella that I don't like. Plus, yes, it is sloany.

I love nn Flo, and I think you may have to be prepared that that will happen anyway at some point (Although I have a friend whose DS has just finished his second year at school and is still Alexander, not Alex).

Arabella - still has sloaney conotations to me, even though I have good friend Arabella whis is not sloaney!

I love Florence but hate the nicknames....

I would go with India Florence I think.
