Nearly at the end of this four hundred year pregnancy and i have bounced from Sheherazade to Emma to Honey to Florence/Iris/ Lily.....have finally come to my senses and our chosen girls name is definitely going to be Elizabeth....DH is thrilled as he loves this name and its a bit of a nod to my DM who has adored this name forever.....Surely this level of sensibleness means i can have a slightly kooky middle name???

I really want to call her Elizabeth Coco....

whaddya say??

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coco_Chanel if you want to know were "coco" comes from.

but elisabeth coco sounds nice. If you don't mind where it comes from! most people won't know the origine but will probably associate it with coco chanel.

I think it's a great idea, love coco :) if my ds was a girl we were going to have Loveday as a mn.

I think middle names are a brilliant way of using names that you love/mean something to you but you wouldn't have the guts to use as a first name. Elizabeth Coco sounds good to me Smile

Think you would be ruining a lovely first name by using Coco as a middle name. Coco is a monkey's name.

Pfishofplight · 18/08/2010 12:29

Is Coco a real name? I don't like the idea of using a whacky name in the middle, it's embarrassing. Sorry.

GuntherMcKilocodie · 18/08/2010 12:18

Yes it's cute, and I don't like kooky names in general.

zozzle · 18/08/2010 11:50

BelligerentGhoul · 18/08/2010 11:03

Love Elizabeth and think Coco is fine as a second name, if you like it.

I like Elizabeth Wren or Elizabeth Posy even better though! Wink

tummytickler · 18/08/2010 10:54

Go for it!

It'll be a talking point when she's older and all her pals have Grace, Rose or Mae as their middle names
