SpringHeeledJack · 17/08/2010 13:25

it's Spanish

in fact I believe Che's given name was Ernesto

[starts to warm to it a bit]

Norsedriver · 17/08/2010 13:23

Yes we like Gil. I wouldn't like Bert.

I haven't heard of the name Ernesto. Not sure about that one.

theagedparent · 17/08/2010 13:20

Gilbert is the best nn Gil

SpringHeeledJack · 17/08/2010 13:17

I worked with an Ernie once. He used to say things like: 'I tried to ring her but then that bird answers. You know that bird what answers the phone and says I'm sorry your call cannot be connected'

put me off the name a bit

if you change it to Ernesto it might sound better though?

DomesticG0ddess · 17/08/2010 13:12

Love Ernest, don't like Gilbert at all though.

SpringHeeledJack · 17/08/2010 12:58

Gilbert is okaaaay

Ernest is- I'm afraid- awful. He would be Ernie from birth Sad

usualsuspect · 17/08/2010 12:55
