Nothing too crazy.
And please stay away from Tank Engines. Grin

We are currently considering:

Ethan (dh hates it)
Rhys (not too sure as it is a lovely name, but also the name of my half-brother who we don't see too often, but we do get on with him).

Also, Michael and Alexander are out - Thomas already has these as his middle names.

Which is a shame as they are also lovely.

Any biblical/traditional name would go well with Thomas.

I love Benjamin (my LO's name so am slightly biased!)
Luke
Mark
Reuben
Jacob
Gabriel
Matthew
Jonathan
Noah

LundryLyne gave some lovely ideas.

Peter. It's DS's name so I am biased, but I think it goes well with Thomas.

Ha ha ha!! Must be my skanky area.
I worked in a city centre pub you see, and these are the names of some of the old men who lived drank there.

Shame, as I am into old man names really.

Maybe I should move somewhere more cosmopolitan.
Or normal.

Oh no NiceCuppaT!!!

No don't!! Grin

Must just be where I live. Maybe it's a Scottish thing (we have to be very very careful about nicknames around here).

George equates to Dode.
Thomas is probably going to get Tam the bam.
Jack usually ends up as a Jackie-boy.
James gets Jim, Jeemy, Jimbo.....

sigh

That's if he won't just get his last name for ever more, lol.
Maybe I shouldn't bother!! The lads at high school will probably determine the name he will be known as forever more anyway....Wink

I know a benjamin (known him for years) and never heard him called bender etc!! Never even thought of that!! He's just ben...I might start calling him bender now though!! Grin

Threelittleducks · 07/08/2010 18:28

Also do like Benjamin, but does that not lend itself to such classic nicknames as Ben-der and Ben-Dover??

Ah, now, I like Matthew. Dh has a brother called Matthew, but was put off it when he said he gets called Maffooo by his mates.
Cheers Matthew.
Still, I'm thinking about it!!

Also like Harry, but as Thomas already gets called Tom, all we would need is a Dick.....hmm.

I can't call him James as that is the name of the arsehole guy that is messing my sister around going out with my sister.
