I know one child Dominic and one child Isaac.

I think Isaac is a much nicer name, so would go for that.

LOVE Dominic. DH vetoed it for DS2 but I still love it.

Not keen on Isaac, too 'now'.

My DS Isaac is one of the only ones I've heard in our area (South London/Kent) and people always comment on a what a lovely name it is. I love the name beyond belief. I like Dominic too, but for some reason wouldn't call my next DC it if it's a boy. But I've no idea why. Perhaps because I don't want it to be shortened to Dom

Just a thought, re. nicknames I suppose you'd have Zack or similar for Isaac. I like 'Dom' and 'Nick' for Dominic. Many years ago I went out with a Nick-short-for-Dominic and he was lovely!

My friend has an Isaac, but they pronounce is "Eesack" for some reason.

I like Isaac too, don't know any others, it's certainly not popular around here. Joshua is though.

Her only reservation with Dominic is the pub up the road is called Dominics of all things

Fraser is also on the shortlist so i'm told !

I like Fraser best

Dominic! I love that name. Isaac is a good name too but DOminic is a fabulous name.

I would definitely vote for Isaac. But then I have one I only know one other though, so there aren't many of them round here.

I love Isaac and wanted it for this DC but DP won't have it so DC will be Gabriel Isaac if it's a boy.

I like Dominic too.

I have a Dominic. It's quite a rare name at the moment - he's the only one in his school. There seem to be a lot more Isaacs now.

I have a 3 year old Isaac, so naturally that would be my choice. Incidentally I've only met one other his age, and he is the only one at his pre-school. It can't be that common down here!

Dominic definitely gets my vote. I've always liked 'Dom'. Isaac is a bit too popular at the moment.
