What about Tamsin? Comes from Thomasina/Thomasine but easier to spell

Personally I'm not keen on Thomasina, but if you did choose it, Tina as a nickname would be nice IMO.

How about Tamasine (a later version of Thomasina), Theodora, Marina or Christina?

My MIL is called Thomasina and she always gets called Ina. x

Are you asking for comments? If so, I have always thought of it as one of those 'Actually, we really wanted a boy' -type names.

(I'm sure someone who loves it will be along in a mo.)
