Struggling to find a cornish boys name

My OH is a scot DD1 is named Isla, he got his scottish name!

I am cornish so I want our 2nd child to have a cornish name. Hubby is very conservative, especially for a boys name. His only suggestion is Tom or Tam. Tam I do like but it's another bloomin scots name so not fair!

Do not want Demelza or Karenza, Trevelyan, Piran, those are jaw achingly boring if you are cornish. Surname is Bevan

Choices are girl:
Morvah
Merryn
Tean
Hendra (more commonly a boys name)

Boy:

Jago
Ennor
Tean
Tyack

I LOVE Jago. Really cool I think and can be shortened to Jay which is very normal and conservative sounding.

I am worried that Tean is a bit, ahem, chavvy? (winces away from possible flaming-sorry) and the same for Tyack-because you know it will be shortened to Ty. I am not sure about Ennor but i think it's unusual and therefore interesting.

I thought Kester was a Cornish version of Christopher-I love that and really like Jago too.

I love Perrin - do you think I could get away with using it when we are not remotely Cornish? (We have a Dylan and are also not Welsh)

How common is Perrin in Cornwall? Can you spell it Perren?

My nephew is Piran but you've ruled that out already - shame but I understand its probably quite popular in Cornwall. What about Jory - Cornish for George

For DD2 I loved Nessa - Cornish for second! We didn't for it in the end, still love it though

Have you considered 'Cadan' (pronounced kay-den) , the cornish version of 'Paul' (so I was told!).

Otherwise, love 'Ennor'.

Zethar (seagull)
Carlin (the little champion)
Ennor (from the boundary)
Gorran (a hero)
Menadue (from the dark hill)

I like Ennor too.

Think Jago is cool and love Ennor too. There was a girl at my old school with the lovely and v unusual cornish name of Breock. Also, what about Endellion...or is that too Tolkien-esque?

I've always pronounced Ennor "Enna" but I suppose it's meant to have a Cornish drawl to it? Like "Ennorrr"

My favourite Cornish name is Kenver for a boy. I've never been a fan of Jago but I like Tremain and Ennor.

Jago is fab. We have a couple at school and it works well. It sounds great with Isla, too.

You've inspired me to look up some Cornish names now am fascinated by them! I found Kitto, which is pretty cool for a boy. Is it really used in Cornwall?

My niece's middle name is Sennen, and I know a (7yr old) Jago, who's sister's middle name is Sennen too.

We were going to have a Jago if we had a boy (didn't), and then we got a dog, so we called him Jago instead
